Het Zotte Kalf Weiland
Whey is a byproduct of making cheese. The whey comes from Cheese Farm Kleikracht, in Winsum. Raw milk was used to produce the cheese, the real farm cheese! In addition, a lot of hops have been added to this nice creamy beer, giving it a hoppy bitter taste.
Whey is a byproduct of making cheese. Substituting some of the brewing water for whey gives this beer a fruity taste and creamy character.
Rural Brewery Het Zotte Kalf
Rural Brewery Het Zotte Kalf, located between Onderdendam and Winsum. The young cattle in the cowshed were joined by our young brewery after a renovation, providing a close connection to life in the Groningen countryside.
Our goal is for rural Groningen to enjoy specialty beer, with a wonderful beer in store for every season. There are also the regular beers: the Barrosã Blond, Salorn Tripel and Galloway Porter. We occasionally top off the collection with an occasional beer. In short, there is a beer from Het Zotte Kalf for everyone’s taste. Got thirsty?
