Pastry stouts are often very sweet stouts with the craziest flavors. All kinds of Pastry flavors are added to these beers such as cheesecake, donut, brownie but cookies, candy and maple syrup are also common notes in pastry stouts. Often full and creamy from the lactose and in the base, of course, malt and hops.
